DO YOU LIKE HISTORY, FOREST AND FRESH AIR?

We invite you for an interesting hiking tour where we will walk & talk around the Red Stone Castle and the surrounding valley. You will find out who was the richest man of the Middle Ages. Who was the first and last owner of the castle, we will discover an old Jewish cemetery, underground mines where silver, copper and pyrite were mined and we will climb the Calvary and see some chapels. At the same time we will breath some fresh air, recharge our batteries and perhaps also loose some kilos in the magnificent area of the Small Carpathian countryside.

The circuit is about 7 km long and takes 3 hours. We will walk in the forest terrain. You need sturdy walking or hiking shoes and a good mood. The bus runs from the main bus station Nr.20 Mlynske Nivy at 2.10pm. Arrival to the Redstone Castle is at 3.31pm. The return bus leaves at 6.29pm.

Parking at the Red Stone Castle for free. The tour will start and finish in the same place - in front of the main entry of the castle. (We will not go inside)
